Ensuring all property management practices adhere to local, state, and federal laws, including landlord-tenant laws. 

Financial Management:

Preparing budgets for property maintenance, managing expenses, and providing financial reports to the property owner. 

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate financial records of expenses related to the property.

Supervising Staff: If the property management company employs staff, they are responsible for overseeing their performance and ensuring they adhere to company policies. 

Developing Tenant Relations Policies: Creating guidelines for tenant interactions and addressing tenant concerns, including tenant unions or representative voices in management.
